Pecan Creek Winery was established in 2017 and is currently producing around 4,000 cases of wine per year in Muskogee Oklahoma. Producing popular fruit wines, very drinkable dry table wines and a line of classic premium, single varietal wines, Pecan Creek loves to show people that outstanding wine can be produced in Oklahoma with characteristics rivaling wines produced in more popular regions of the world. Distributed in over sixty liquor stores and restaurants in Oklahoma, Pecan Creek plans to distribute in neighboring states in the coming year.

Jim Lamb "Pa" was the original owner of Briarpatch Winery in Briartown which he sold in 2013. In August of 2020 we received a phone call that the new owner was closing and selling all the wine making equipment. Pa’s son and daughter-in-law Kelly and Janette Lamb seized the opportunity to bring back the original recipes and quality of wine that Pa has perfected over the past 20 years. He agreed to train and mentor Janette and grandson Zach Lamb in his wine making secrets. With his blessing, help, and training we opened ON THE LAMb WINERY. We “allegedly” have a long family history of outlaws on both sides. Nestled between Belle Star Landing and Robbers Cave, “being on the LAM from the law” was a common thread in the region as outlaws attempted to escape Hanging Judge Parker’s far reach out of Ft. Smith. With THREE generations of winemakers, we hope our wine will bring back some good memories of Briarpatch Winery while making many more along the way. We always enjoy seeing old friends and making new ones. Pa has been known to make an appearance at the Winery from time to time and loves to reconnect with old customers.

The Elderberry Wine Company is open Thursday, Friday, &amp; Saturday from 10:00-6:00. Additional hours &amp; special events are available by appointment. We're a small country winery dedicated to crafting the finest elderberry wines. We offer complimentary tastings and you're more than welcome to share a bottle of your personal favorite on our covered pavilion or patio. (We don't sell wine by the glass). There's seating for 30+ near our elderberry fields, where you'll be surrounded by native wildflowers. Weather permitting, it's truly a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature on our regenerative farm. Take the dirt road: it's part of the adventure!

Backroad Vineyard is a unique family-owned and operated small farm winery and vineyard located near Fort Gibson Lake, north of Okay, Ok. In 2007, owner Rick Merrill began making wine as a hobby, and with Connie’s Northern California roots they decided to plant 250 vines on their property to bring a bit of wine country to Oklahoma. With the encouragement of family and close friends, Backroad Vineyard and Rustic Weddings opened as a small rustic wedding venue. Eventually, they converted the building used for receptions to what is now the winery, tasting room and gift shop, and produce quality small batch wines. All of their wines are hand crafted at the winery from the start of fermentation to bottling and labeling. From sweet fruity to semi-sweet and dry, they have a great selection to satisfy anyone’s palate. Backroad offers free wine tastings, and you will get to personally visit with Rick and Connie. Sit out on the front porch and relax with a glass of your favorite wine and enjoy the view of the vines, pond and the old rustic barn.
